1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using HoKoJa (the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and HoKoJa Ltd.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email and in-app notification.
2. Eligibility
To use HoKoJa, you must meet all of the following requirements:

HoKoJa is strictly an 18+ platform. Any user found to be under 18 will have their account immediately and permanently deleted. We take this policy seriously and will report suspected cases involving minors to the appropriate authorities.

When you create an account on HoKoJa, you agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that provides false information, violates these Terms, or is otherwise used in a manner inconsistent with our community standards.
4. Invitation System
HoKoJa operates as an invitation-only platform. To create an account, you must possess a valid invitation code issued by HoKoJa or an authorised administrator.
5. Community Rules & Prohibited Conduct
HoKoJa is a community built on respect and safety. By using our platform, you agree not to:
Harassment & abuse
Send unwanted messages, threats, insults, or engage in any form of harassment, stalking, or intimidation.
Impersonation & catfishing
Misrepresent your identity, use someone else's photos, or otherwise deceive other members about who you are.
Solicitation & scams
Solicit money, financial information, or other valuable items from other members. Use the platform for commercial solicitation, spam, or pyramid schemes.
Explicit content
Share or request sexually explicit content, images, or messages without explicit consent. Sharing non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) is a criminal offence and will be reported.
Automated behaviour
Use bots, scripts, scraping tools, or any automated means to access or interact with the platform.
Unauthorised access
Attempt to access, reverse engineer, or interfere with any part of the platform's systems, code, or infrastructure.
Illegal activity
Use HoKoJa to facilitate any illegal activity, including trafficking, exploitation, drug dealing, or any other criminal conduct.
Bypassing safety features
Circumvent or attempt to bypass our report, block, or safety systems.
Violations of these rules may result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban, and where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
6. User Content
By posting photos, text, or other content on HoKoJa ("User Content"), you grant HoKoJa Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, without prior notice.
8. Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds

All Premium purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law as set out below. Premium is a digital service that becomes available immediately upon payment confirmation, and by completing the purchase you acknowledge that you are receiving the service immediately.

Statutory refund rights (where applicable):
Some jurisdictions grant statutory refund rights that override our default policy. These apply only to the extent required by your local consumer protection law. Where they do apply, we will honour them.
Approved refunds are processed via Revolut and typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement. To request a refund under any of the categories above, email info@hokoja.com with your order ID and the basis for your request.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of HoKoJa — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, software, and the overall design — are owned by or licensed to HoKoJa Ltd and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
10. Disclaimers
⚠ No guarantee of matches or relationships
HoKoJa provides tools for meeting people. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, enter into a relationship, or meet someone compatible. Dating involves inherent uncertainty and is ultimately your responsibility.
⚠ No background checks
We do not conduct criminal background checks on our members. We strongly encourage you to exercise caution and personal judgment when meeting anyone from the platform. Always meet in public places initially and tell someone you trust where you are going.
ℹ Service availability
HoKoJa is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components. We may suspend or modify the Service at any time for maintenance, improvements, or legal reasons.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HoKoJa disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability & Waiver of Claims
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

By using HoKoJa — whether on a free or paid (Premium) basis — you expressly agree and acknowledge that you are not permitted to file any complaint of any kind, or to bring any lawsuit or legal action against HoKoJa Ltd, its directors, employees, affiliates, or agents, whether on an individual basis or as part of any collective, class, or representative action, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to disputes relating to matching outcomes, account suspension, content removal, or subscription billing.
This waiver applies to all free users and all Premium subscribers and covers all claims whether sounding in contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory. By continuing to use www.hokoja.com or any associated application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this waiver.
🚫 No Compensation of Any Kind
Under no circumstances will HoKoJa Ltd, the HoKoJa platform, or any of its administrators, directors, employees, contractors, or agents pay any compensation of any kind to any user — whether monetary, in-kind, or otherwise — regardless of the reason, outcome, or circumstance. This includes but is not limited to compensation for:
This no-compensation policy applies absolutely and unconditionally to all users of www.hokoja.com, whether using the free tier or any paid subscription. It applies even in cases where HoKoJa Ltd is found to have acted negligently, in error, or in breach of any obligation. By using HoKoJa, you irrevocably accept this condition as a fundamental term of your agreement with us.
Some jurisdictions do not permit the full exclusion of liability. To the extent such restrictions apply in your jurisdiction, the above provisions apply to the maximum extent permitted by local law.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event you have a concern about the Service, we encourage you to contact us at info@hokoja.com. We will make reasonable efforts to address genuine platform or technical issues on a goodwill basis.
Important — Please re-read Section 11
As stated in Section 11, by using HoKoJa you have agreed to waive your right to file complaints or pursue legal action against HoKoJa Ltd. This waiver applies regardless of the nature of your concern and regardless of whether you are a free or paid user. Contacting us is voluntary and does not create any obligation on our part to resolve the matter or provide compensation of any kind.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. To the extent any dispute is determined by a competent authority to be outside the scope of the waiver in Section 11, such dispute shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration under the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), conducted in English in London, United Kingdom.
13. Termination & Account Suspension
By you: You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, your profile will be removed from public view. Some data may be retained for legal purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
⚠ Suspension & Deletion Without Notice
HoKoJa Ltd reserves the right to immediately suspend, restrict, or permanently delete your account at any time and without prior notice or explanation, whenever we determine — at our sole and absolute discretion — that there is any risk to the platform, its members, its integrity, or its reputation. This includes but is not limited to risk of harm, fraud, abuse, legal exposure, reputational damage, or any other circumstance we consider to present a risk.
We are under no obligation to warn you before suspending or deleting your account, to provide reasons for our decision, or to give you the opportunity to appeal or remedy any situation prior to action being taken. Account suspension or deletion may occur with or without an identifiable violation of these Terms.
Upon termination for any cause, no refund will be issued for any unused subscription period. Following termination, these Terms remain in effect for all provisions that by their nature should survive, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, the waiver of claims, and the limitation of liability.
14. Changes to These Terms
⚠ Right to Modify Without Notice
HoKoJa Ltd reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time and at its sole discretion, without prior notice to you. Changes become effective immediately upon being posted to this page. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document will reflect when changes were last made.
It is your sole responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued access to or use of HoKoJa following any changes constitutes your unconditional acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with any modification, your only remedy is to immediately cease using the Service and delete your account.
We are under no obligation to notify you of any changes by email, in-app message, or any other means. You waive any right to receive advance notice of modifications to these Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Subject to the arbitration clause above, you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and HoKoJa Ltd with respect to your use of HoKoJa, superseding all prior agreements and understandings.
